my name is Tiarne Van Dyk. Art is my passion and this website expresses the unique artist i am. Since i was young i have been given an incredible gift - the eye for photography. Photography takes me into a different place where i block out the rest of the world and it becomes just me, my camera and its surroundings. I love taking photographs of nature. Aswell as photography i also like to express myself through painting, drawing and collage. I think to be an artist you must have a huge amount of imagination and have a open mind. My inspiration comes from many childrens books, but one which i am extremly amazed by is Charlie and Lola books by Lauren child. She has influenced me so much, and her work astonishes me everytime! funny, quirky and truly flabbergasting! My insperation also comes from the stunning nature which we see all around us, aswell as children and my own childhood. Growing up i had an amazing childhood, surrounded by lots of imagination and arty fartys! each day i am so greatful for my incredible gifts which i hope to shine amongst all around me!
